In some states, we have reached another tricky layer of COVID-19. Taking OFF our masks. Who knew this could be such a hard step to take?!?!
What do I do now that either myself or others are not wearing my/their masks?
How do I feel about that?
Fortunately, we all seem to be born with a massive magnet sitting in our soul… like a hidden longing pulling us towards something… We are not too sure where or what it is pulling us towards… it is just out of reach. Sometimes the pull can threaten to ruin everything… even meaning itself.
Just as we compensate to favor one side of our body, such as knowing to ice our knee after a strain or finding ourselves avoiding physical exertion, we naturally build compensations for emotional wounds or imbalances.
