Join Krista Day-Gloe, LCSW and author of Mood & Moon: A Body Led Guide for Cycling Bodies, for a 3-month workshop designed specifically for women (or AFAB individuals) who want to better understand how their hormones influence their daily lives.
Most of us were never taught how to make sense of the shifts we experience throughout the month, often leaving us feeling like a different version of ourselves without understanding why. This workshop offers a new way of looking at those changes. You can’t control the weather, but you can learn to read the patterns—and over time, begin to anticipate shifts in energy, mood, and sensitivity in a similar way within your own body.
Over the course of three months, participants will use the Mood & Moon workbook to track personal patterns and explore how hormonal shifts influence:
- Sleep and energy levels
- Hunger, fullness, and cravings
- Mood and emotional reactivity
- Focus, motivation, and productivity
- Relationships and sensitivity to stress
Each session includes:
- Education on hormonal rhythms and nervous system patterns
- Guided reflection and pattern recognition
- Group discussion and shared insight
- Practical tools for working with your body rather than against it
Between sessions, participants will:
- Track their own experiences using the workbook
- Begin identifying personal patterns across their cycle
- Build awareness of how hormones influence daily functioning
- Watch patterns become clearer over time
By the end of the 3 months, participants will:
- Recognize predictable shifts in mood, energy, and behavior
- Feel less confused or self-critical about those changes
- Develop a greater sense of trust in their body
- Learn how to plan, rest, and respond based on their body’s natural rhythms
